Obituary for Harold T. Campbell

HAROLD T. CAMPBELL, 94, of Nashville, Ill., formerly of Chester, passed away at 7:30 pm, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Nashville.

He was born to the late William A. and Bertha (nee: Magerkurth) Campbell on August 28, 1921 in Oakdale, Illinois.

He married Coletta Clemens on October 19, 1946 in Sparta, Illinois. She survives.

Harold worked as a security officer at Chester Mental Health Center for 31 years.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Alva Courier Post #487 and AFSCME retiree.

Survivors his wife Coletta Campbell of Nashville, Ill.; three siblings Lester Campbell, Nashville, Lawrence Campbell, O'Fallon, Ill. and Florence Vuichard, Coulterville; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by: parents, three brothers - Floyd, William Roy and Wilfred Campbell, and one sisister - Nellie Campbell.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2015 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, with Rev. Cecil Dunning officiating.

Visitation will take place Monday - 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester.

Interment will be in Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville.

Memorials can be made to the Chester American Legion.
