Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Montroy

MARY ELIZABETH MONTROY, 84, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:25 am on Friday September 18, 2015, at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late Joseph and Luella (nee: Overturf) Booth on July 10, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mary married Armin J. Montroy on April 4, 1959 in Chester, IL. He survives.

She was a bookkeeper.

Mary was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellis Grove, IL.

Survivors include her husband Armin J. Montroy, Chester, IL; one son Kim J. (Angela Palmer) Montroy, Austin, Texas, two siblings Jane (Ray) Rabbitt, Lebanon, Ill., Alice (Don) Sobba, Auxvasse, Mo.; brother-in-law Lawrence (Pat) Montroy, Chester; sister-in-law Betty (Harold) Reiss, Red Bud and many nieces and nephews.

Special niece - Amy (Ron) Liefer and their children - Sarah, Laura and Brian.

Preceded in death by: Parents, one brother - Joe Booth and one brother - James Glen Booth.

It was Mary's wish to be cremated.

Memorial service is 11 a.m. on Friday, November 13, at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, with Deacon Al DuBois officiating.

Inurnment is at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Chester.

Visitation Friday, 10 a.m. to 11a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester.
