Dale E. Williams
Dale E. Williams, 84, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:45PM, Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Dale had been a general contractor in the construction industry. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin. He was a United State Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Du Quoin Elks, Du Quoin VFW and American Legion, Knights of Columbus and life member of the Tim Bell Memorial Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
He was born November 7, 1930 at Du Quoin, Illinois, the son of Harry L. and Lillian (Senior) Williams.
He married Jacqueline G. Fiantaco on November 12, 1956 at Du Quoin, Illinois and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, one son-Dan E. Williams and wife Christina of Rockton, Illinois, one grandson-Kyle S. Williams and wife Becky of Chicago, one granddaughter-Jaci K. Williams of Park Ridge, Illinois, one great-granddaughter-Hannah Dale Williams of Chicago, one brother-Kenneth M. Williams and wife Marilyn of Pinckneyville, one sister-Darlene Wright and husband Jack of Tuscon, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Wanda Franklin Williams, and one sister-Harriet Schroeder.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.
Friends may call from 9 to 11AM, Wednesday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Du Quoin VFW, Du Quoin American Legion and the United States Marine Corps.
Friends may make memorials to Du Quoin Food Pantry, Alzheimers Association, Marshall Browning Tree of Life or Masses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
