James R. Trigg

James R. Trigg, born Nov. 29, 1922 in Christopher, Ill., died Mary 22, 2014 at Jefferson Barracks Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. after a long, colorful life. In his early years he participated in summer stock in New Hampshire, where he worked with John Carradine and Zazu Pitts, among others. He also was a supervisor at the post office in New York City's Wall Street district. After retirement he moved to Las Vegas, Nev. and worked at the Frontier Casino. Two years ago he moved to Fairview Heights, Ill. to be closer to family. He traded gambling at the keno parlor for playing bingo for quarters.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Bess and Lon Trigg and brother, Harold Trigg.

Jim is survived by nieces Gay (Ed) Graves and family, Beth (Brian) Cassity and family and nephew, Tom (Cheryl) and family, sister in law, Louise Trigg and a special great nephew, Ryan Graves.

There will be graveside services at the Tamaroa Cemetery on Friday, May 30 at 3 p.m.
