Darlene Jones

Darlene Jones, age 81, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 4:45 a.m. in Washington County Hospital, Nashville, Ill.

Darlene was born on Feb. 14, 1933 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to Oscar J. and Martha R. (Kiehn) Bardle. On Nov. 3, 1959, she married Roy W. Jones in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1996. She was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed bingo, fishing and loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Allen (Melissa Lou) Jones of Carlyle, Ill.; four grandchildren, Andrew Jones, Patrick Jones, William Reynolds and Mandy Kock and four great-grandchildren, Will, Marley, Sophia and Gavin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and seven brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Justin Moody officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
