Jeremy Ray Nehrkorn

Jeremy Ray Nehrkorn, age 27, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 in St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Jeremy was born on Nov. 10, 1986 in Carbondale, Ill., a son to John and Donita (Giacomo) Nehrkorn. On Oct. 22, 2011, he married Brittny Denae Morrow at Friendship Church of Christ, Tamaroa, Ill. and she survives. Jeremy was a member of Friendship Church of Christ, Tamaroa, Ill. and worked as a line operator at Continental Tire, Mt. Vernon, Ill. for eight years. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting deer and turkey and fishing, but most of all Jeremy loved being a father and a husband.

Survivors include his wife, Brittny Denae Nehrkorn of Pinckneyville, Ill.; a daughter, Alivia Nehrkorn Pinckneyville, Ill.; parents, John and Donita Nehrkorn of Pinckneyville, Ill.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Curtis and Laura Morrow of Pinckneyville, Ill.; grandparents, Wanda Skorczewski of Pinckneyville, Ill., Joyce Morrow of Tamaroa, Ill. and Willard and Frances Ehler of Du Quoin, Ill.; two brothers, Justin (Rindy) Nehrkorn of Marion, Ill. and Jordan Nehrkorn of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Baleigh Morrow of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Brooklyn Morrow of Pinckneyville, Ill.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Glenna Nehrkorn, John Skorczweski, Wayne Giacomo, Jodi Morrow, Richard Morrow and one uncle, Danny Giacomo.

Funeral services will be held at Friendship Church of Christ, Tamaroa, Ill. on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Randy Allison officiating. Interment will be in Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Friendship Church of Christ, Tamaroa, Ill. on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday at the church from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
