Brian D. Hutton

Brian D. Hutton, 29, of Marion, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his residence.

Brian was a creative writer and very passionate about music.

He was born Oct. 5, 1984, in Kankakee, Ill., the son of Paul L. Hutton Jr. and Linda (Preston) Hutton.

He is survived by his father- Paul L. Hutton Jr. of Chicago, mother- Linda Pate and step-father, Gary Pate, of Du Quoin, the love of his life- Anna Marie Knight of Marion, Ill., brother- Andrew P. Hutton and wife Jessica of Colorado Springs, Colo., sister- Amanda M. Smalley and husband Chris of Watseka, Ill., step-sister- Tonika R. Kirby and husband Chad of Dowell, Ill., step-brother- Jeffrey W. Pate and wife Carrie of Du Quoin and his maternal grandmother-Hilda W. Preston of Du Quoin. He also loved his pet Malta-Poo, Millie.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather- William Dwight Preston and paternal grandparents- Paul L. Hutton Sr. and Rita Hutton.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Gary Pate officiating.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
