V. Normadene Kellerman
V. Normadene Kellerman, age 86, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 8:25 p.m. in her home.
Normadene was born on May 21, 1927 in Perry County, Ill., a daughter to Robert T. and Florence Irene (Reidelberger) Hester. On April 28, 1951, she married Lewis V. Kellerman in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2005. Normadene was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, Ill., and the Farm Bureau. She worked for P.N. Hirsch and Dollar General. Normadene enjoyed embroidery, canning and gardening and loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Ron (Gloria) Kellerman of Pinckneyville, Ill.; one daughter, Judy (Gary) Ahner of Pinckneyville, Ill.; one sister, Sharon (Nelson) Rule of Pinckneyville, Ill.; one brother-in-law, Harlan "Shine" Yeager of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Borowski of Collinsville, Ill. and Josephine Reidelberger of Pinckneyville, Ill.; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Rachel) Schwartzkopf, Shannon (Scott) Wedeking, Amy Schwartzkopf, Andy (Amanda) Ahner, Andrea Kellerman and Bobby Kellerman and nine great-grandchildren, Ava, Gabe, Tara, Donavon, Amara, Adyson, Alex, Jayden and Lizee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Maxine Yeager; and one brother, Bobby Hester.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todds Mill, Ill. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Bernard Goedde officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery, Todds Mill, Ill.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. A prayer service will be held on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
