Iola Mae Kuhnert

Iola Mae Kuhnert, age 88, of Pinckneyville, Ill., went to heaven on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012 at 5:15 a.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, Ill.

Iola Mae was born on May 9, 1924 in Jamestown, Ill., a daughter to Dwight and Iva Ellen (Ryan) Rushing. On June 28, 1946, she married Leslie Richard "Les" Kuhnert in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 2003. Iola was a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and was very active in church activities including teaching Sunday School, Training Union and Vacation Bible School.
