Joan Weisel

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Joan Weisel, Age 56, of Tamaroa, Ill., passed away on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012 in her home.

Joan was born on March 6, 1956, the daughter of Walter and Regina (Kuberski) Zyk of DuBois, Ill. On Sept. 20, 1975, she married Harold Weisel of Tamaroa, Ill. and he survives. Joan loved her life and enjoyed so many things about living. She especially loved her family and the many wonderful memories they made together.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; two children, Jeremy Weisel and wife Rhonda of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Amanda Harris and husband Jason of Du Quoin, Ill.; one special granddaughter, Shelby L. Harris; five brothers and sisters, Rose Numi and husband John of Du Quoin, Ill., Rita Jablonski and husband Jim of DuBois, Ill., John Zyk and wife Kandice of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Leona Jablonski and husband Joe of Highland, Ill. and Leon Zyk and wife Julieann of DuBois, Ill.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Mabel Weisel of Tamaroa, Ill.; brother-in-law, Ray Weisel and wife Shirley of Tamaroa, Ill.; many dear nephews, nieces and extended family.

She was preceded in death by one unborn child, her parents, one niece and one great niece.

Funeral services will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends may call at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Sunday, 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
