Wesley Francis Heine

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wesley Francis Heine, 100, of Campbell Hill, beloved father and grandfather, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at Washington County Hospital in Nashville, Ill.

Wesley was born to William and Clara Higgerson Heine at Cutler, Ill. He married Vera Hodge on May 13, 1939 in Jackson, Mo. She preceded him in death on Sept. 13, 2005. They were married for 66 years.

Mr. Heine was a retired farmer. Throughout his lifetime, he served as a member of the Perry County Farm Bureau for many years and also served on several other boards in southern Illinois. He was a member of Pinckneyville Baptist Church, where he once served as a deacon and also attended and was active in Denmark Baptist Church for many years.

Mr. Heine is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Marilyn Heine of Campbell HIll; four grandchildren, Belinda Conner an husband Scott of Du Quoin, Rosemary Boswell and husband Joel of O&#39;Fallon, Bryan Heine and wife Lisa of Bloomington and Matthew and wife Lisa of Pinckneyville; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Nedra Heine of Sparta; five great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Benjamin Conner of Carterville, Jacob and Luke Boswell of O&#39;Fallon and Isaac Heine of Pinckneyville and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son, Gerald Wesley; one infant granddaughter, Karen Louise Heine and three sisters, Lola Mae Keene, Lois Armstrong and Vera Smith.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 20 at Wilson&#39;s Funeral Home in Ava with Rev. Marty DeRoche officiating. Burial will follow at Cottom Cemetery in Cutler.

Visitation will be held at Wilson&#39;s Funeral Home, AVa, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 7:30 to 11 a.m. on Friday.

Memorials may be given to Cottom Cemetery.
