Pastor Robert Lee Woolford

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Pastor Robert Lee Woolford, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and Pastor, was born Jan. 26, 1935 and passed away on July 7, 2012.

Surviving family includes wife of 53 years - Velma J. Woolford, children - Robert and Laura Woolford of Lake Mary, Fla., Donna and David Markus of Centralia, Denise and Doug Butcher of Du Quoin and Roger and Susie Woolford of Lugoff, S.C., 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters - Phyllis Bowyer of Florida, George Bowyer of Hawaii, Kathy Bowyer of New Jersey, Lynn Woolford of Florida, Charles Woolford of Westchester, Pa., uncle - Robert Babin of Oregon, step mother - Meriam Woolford of Westchester, Pa. and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by sister - Susan Bowyer and parents.

Robert was employed at and retired from Boeing Air Craft, Ridley Park, Pa., Rohr Flexible, Loudonville, Ohio, Molded Fiberglass, Ashtabula, Ohio and Rockwell International (Cambridge Industries), Centralia. Some of his accomplishments include Pastor and founder of Day Star Ministries, Inc., Tank Commander, U.S. Army, President and Field Rep, Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International, part of Gideon's International, District Director, International Convention of Faith Ministers, participated in TCT Television - "Ask the Pastor," and Teacher, International College of Bible Theology. He also took mission trips to Africa and the Ukraine.

Robert enjoyed model railroading, camping, traveling and family time. His favorite scripture and motto for life was Philippians 4:13. "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."

Please join us in a Celebration of Life Service officiated by Pastor Robert Meyer on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Irvin Funeral Home, 234 South Elm, Centralia, Ill. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park where military rites will be accorded by VFW Post 2055 and American Legion Post 446.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Irvin Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Day Star Ministries or Gideon's International and will be accepted at the funeral home.
