Glen A. Harlan
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Glen A. Harlan, 50, of Tamaroa, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Glen had been a construction laborer. He was a member of the Tamaroa Christian Church.
He was born April 13, 1962 at Du Quoin, Ill. the son of Glen Hart and Rosie Irene (Knapp) Harlan.
He married Carrie Rice on July 30, 2003 at Pinckneyville, Ill. and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, two daughters- Heather Harlan-Wallace of Du Quoin, Alecia Harlan-Soto and husband Jason of Tamaroa, two step sons- Chad Ellison of Christopher and Scott Ellison of Du Quoin, two brothers- James L. George and wife Yvonne of Panama City, Fla. and Edward George and wife Dorothy of Tamaroa, two sisters- Patricia L. Ellison and husband Steve of Tamaroa and Joann Skorcz and husband Charlie of Tamaroa, two grandchildren- Brent Wallace of Du Quoin and Adrainne Soto of Tamaroa, step grandchildren- Leia Bryant of Du Quoin, Skylar Soto of Murphysboro, Tara Ellison of Du Quoin, Taylor Ellison of Du Quoin, Alyssa Ellison of Christopher and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers- Frankie D. George, Howard George and Harold E. George.
He will never be out of our minds and hearts. We Love You.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Bro. Arven Kirkpatrick officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
