Gloria V. Morrow

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Gloria V. Morrow, age 87, of Kankakee, Ill., formerly of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2:10 p.m. in Manor Care Nursing Home, Kankakee, Ill.

Gloria was born on Oct. 15, 1924 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to Albert and Carrie (Bonta) Corden. On Nov. 30, 1941, she married Harry Wallace "Bill" Morrow in Perryville, Mo. and he preceded her in death after 50 years of marriage on Oct. 5, 1992. She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church, Du Quoin, Ill. and was a housekeeper for 20 years working with the Ramada Inn hotel chain in Michigan. Gloria loved quilting, crocheting and spending time with and caring for her family.

Survivors include a son, Harry "Bud" (Jorene) Morrow of Plainwell, Mich.; a daughter, Julia (Gerald) Fecke of Bonfield, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Ardell Morrow of Tenneessee; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Oren Morrow; a brother, Albert Corden; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Upton and a great-grandchild, Mary Faith Sikes.

Funeral services will be held at Gospel Assembly Church, Du Quoin, Ill. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Gaylen Holden officiating. Interment will be in Tamaroa City Cemetery, Tamaroa, Ill.

Friends may call at Gospel Assembly Church, Du Quoin, Ill. on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
