</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Darlene Schneider, age 73, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 9:55 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Darlene was born on April 6, 1939 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a daughter to Dick and Jessie I. (Chapman) Jones. On July 12, 1957, she married Richard "Dick" Schneider in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he survives. Darlene enjoyed cooking and gardening and dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Darlene is survived by her husband; a son, Steve Schneider of Pinckneyville, Ill.; brother, Carl Richard (Kay) Jones of Pinckneyville, Ill.; sister, Dixie (Pete) Lueker of Pinckneyville, Ill.; granddaughter, Gina Schneider-Montgomery of St. Louis, Mo.; two great grandchildren, Taliq and Kyan Montgomery and several dear nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sue Buschschulte.

Funeral services will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating.

Friends may call at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Darlene's wishes were to be cremated.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family of Darlene Schneider.
