William A. Ellis

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[William A. Ellis, age 74, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 2:07 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, Ill.

William was born on Jan. 21, 1938, in McDougal, Ark. a son to Robert and Ora (Gilliam) Ellis. On Dec. 5, 1956, he married Bonnie J. Jackson in Benton Harbor, MI and she survives. William was a mechanic for Southland Volkswagon and Suntrup Volkswagen and Nissan for 35 years. He was a member of the mechanics union and enjoyed bird watching, fishing and reading.

William is survived by his wife, Bonnie J. Ellis of Pinckneyville, Ill.; three daughters, Karen (Frank) Overy of Bird City, Kans., Vicki (Steve) Hagene of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Sue (Jimmy) Moreno of San Antonio, Tex.; three grandchildren, Briana Overy and Justin and Tyler Howard and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Ellis' request was to be cremated with no services held.
