Romolla Faye Griffin

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Romolla Faye Griffin, 82, of Camp Springs, Md., formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:34 a.m., Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md.

Faye had been a LPN at Du Quoin and Pinckneyville Nursing Homes for over 25 years. She was of the Protestant faith.

She was born Oct. 12, 1929 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Pete and Lillian (Reese) Vancil.

She married Charles William Griffin and he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2003.

She is survived by one daughter - Ramona Griffin of Camp Springs, Md. and a host of friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son - Charles Griffin, Jr.

Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin.

Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin.

Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
