I feel sad when I hear comments like this

I feel sad when I hear comments like this: "My kids would love to play baseball or softball this summer, but I don&#39;t have the $40.00 for them to play." A child crying because their friends play sports and they can&#39;t because of the cost. What&#39;s wrong with this picture? Not fair - no right. Why not start a fund to help those who can&#39;t pay if they go by some rules and guidelines? Some poorer kids might be real good athletes. Let&#39;s give all kids who want to play sports a chance to do so. Come on - it&#39;s a hurtful thing for kids being overlooked because they don&#39;t have money. They really don&#39;t understand - why? Can&#39;t we get something going to help them? They will be forever thankful.
