She was born to the late Frederick and Florence (nee Haley) Conrad on May 28, 1926 in Boston, Massachusetts.

She married Herbert W. Gentsch on December 15, 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts; he preceded in death on January 14, 2005.

She had been a secretary at the Chester Savings & Loan for 25 years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois.

Survivors: Brother-in-law Donald (Darlene) Gentsch Chester, IL; Sister-in-law Muriel Conrad Boston, MA; 11 Nieces and Nephews; Many Great Nieces and Nephews; Many Great-Great Nieces and Nephews; Several Cousins

Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband, 2 Brothers - Ronald Conrad & Robert Conrad

Funeral Service was held at 11:00 am, Monday, February 14, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois

Officiating: Rev. Mark Willig and Rev. Peter Ill

Interment: St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Chester, Illinois

Visitation was held on Sunday - 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Monday - 7:30 am - 9:30 am at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois and on Monday - 10:00 am - 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois
