</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Ethel M. Joost, 86, passed away at 11:22 am, Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, with Rev. Dr. Alan W. Janneke officiating.

Burial followed in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery in Steeleville.

Visitation was held at t Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville from 6 to 8 pm Saturday and on Sunday from 7:30 am until 11 am then from Noon to 1 pm at the church.

Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
