She was born to William and Mary (nee Robertson) Porter on May 19, 1951 in Rosiclare, Illinois.

She was an Office Coordinator at Menard Correctional Center, Chester, Illinois.

She was a member of AFSCME Local #1175 and she was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include 2 Children - Tracy (Jeff) Mott Chester, IL, Jared (DeAnna) Lambert Mascoutah, IL; Mother Mary Porter Elizabethtown, IL; 3 Grandchildren - Jaden, Chance and Lexie Mott; 1 Brother Lowell (Betty) Porter Brighton, IL; 1 Sister Sharon (Eugene) Riggs Elizabethtown, IL; 2 Nieces LeAndra (Mark) Austin, Dana (Michael) Ledford; 2 Nephews - Dennis (Ruth) Porter, Kevin (Missy) Porter; Many Cousins and Friends

Preceded in death by: Father and 1 Brother - William Porter

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, Cave in Rock, Illinois

Officiating: Rev. Arthur Austin, Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home, Cave In Rock, Illinois

Interment will be held at Cave Hill Cemetery in Cave In Rock, Illinois
