</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Elda M. Stirnaman, 88, of Red Bud, Illinois, formerly of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 9:59 pm, Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Red Bud Nursing Home, Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born to the late Roman B. and Ella M. (nee Steinkamp) Bleem on June 5, 1922 in Evansville, Illinois.

She married Boniface Stirnaman on June 5, 1941 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois; he preceded her in death on July 21, 1990.

She had worked at the International Shoe Company in Evansville, Illinois.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois and the Altar Sodality. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Evansville, Illinois.

Survivors: 2 Children Robert B. (Jaci) Stirnaman Ellis Grove, IL; Norma (John) Preston Red Bud, IL; 2 Sisters Mildred Fink Ellis Grove, IL, Dolores Stirnaman Red Bud, IL; 1 Brother Roman L. (Juanita) Blee Walsh, IL; 2 Grandchildren Marc (Lisa) Stirnaman Evansville, IL, Jennifer Preston Red Bud, IL; 3 Great Grandchildren, Ryan (Stephanie) Valleroy Red Bud, IL, Lindsey (Rory) Renk Sparta, IL, Bradley Stirnaman Evansville, IL; 1 Great-Great Granddaughter Olivia Nicole Valleroy

Preceded in death by: Parents, Husband and 1 Granddaughter - Nicole R. Stirnamann Valleroy

Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 20, 2011 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, Illinois

Officiating: Father Ben Stern; Msgr Dennis Schaefer

Interment will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Evansville, Illinois

Visitation will be held Wednesday - 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday - 8:00 am - 10:45 am at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, in Evansville, IL
