Robert Earl Collins

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Robert Earl Collins, 50, of Du Quoin, passed away at 7:33 a.m., Friday, Jan. 7, 2011 at his residence.

Robert had worked at Gilster-Mary Lee Company. He was a Baptist.

He was born Oct. 5, 1960 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Oscar B. and Mabel A. (Martin) Collins.

He is survived by a daughter- Aireal Collins of Elkville, brother- David Collins and wife Carol of Du Quoin, and sister- Linda Hartsock and husband John of Pinckneyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation rites have been held.

Graveside services were at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. Charles Smith officiating.

Those attending the services were asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

The Searby Funeral Home of Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
