Mark A. Black

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mark A. Black, 50, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 1:07 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at the St. Louis University Hospital at St. Louis, Mo.

Mark had worked as a printer at Cricket Press in Du Quoin.

He was born Feb. 28, 1960 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Robert and Norma (Simmons) Black.

He is survived by his companion - Patty Daniels and son, Doug, of Pinckneyville, one sister - Jane Russell of Du Quoin, one brother - Charles Black of Du Quoin, two nephews - Jim Holmes and Chas Black, one niece - Kayla Black and one great niece - Shia Holmes.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services were at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin with Rev. Fred Bishop officiating.

Those attending the service were asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
