Betty Jo was a homemaker who loved her family and was host to all birthdays and holiday meals. She loved the Lord supremely, and spent her life serving him. One highlight of life was being a counselor, leading people to the Lord in Billy Graham's revival in Vanderbilt football stadium in Nashville, Tenn. in 1953. She was always available to pray and lead folks to accept Jesus in to their hearts. Her family appreciates the care given to her by the staff of Fair Acres Nursing Home for her three-year stay and also Hospice for their help the last few months.
Friends are encouraged to make memorials to Hospice and will be accepted at the church or sent to Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home P.O. Box 624 Sesser, IL 62884.
