Russell H. Norris

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Russell H. Norris, 50, of Smyrna, Tenn., died at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 in Tennessee.

He was born Aug. 16, 1960 in Augusta, Ga. He was raised in Du Quoin, Ill. and lived there until a year ago when he moved to Tennessee. He served his country in the U.S. Army for eight years. He loved to fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by his parents, Elisabeth and Charlie Stearns of Smyrna, Tenn.; son, Josh Norris of Du Quoin; sisters, Leona (Norris) Cavins of Elkville and Terry Bossle of Bermuda; one brother, David (Amy) Stearns of Smyrna, Tenn.; nephews Kale and Ryan Stearns, Matt (Amy) Grammer, John and Brian Norris; nieces, Rachel (Scott) Frampton and Jennifer Norris; great-nieces and nephews, Kaylen Grammer, Tyler Grammer and Garrett Yurina.

He was preceded in death by one brother, John Norris and twin siblings, Richard and Suzanne Norris; grandparents, Loren and Mae Stearns.
