Richard Eugene Finney
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Richard Eugene Finney, 53, of Du Quoin, passed away at 4:10 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at his residence.
Richard had been an assembly line worker at Five Star Industries in Du Quoin. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Du Quoin.
He was born Aug. 25, 1957 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Raymond J. and Mary (Neville) Finney.
He is survived by five brothers - Carl Finney of Du Quoin, Bob Finney of Texas, Raymond Finney of Valier, Charles Finney of Colorado and Otis Robinson of Florida, four sisters - Wilma Bowers of Du Quoin, Ruth Henson of Du Quoin, Mary Alice Robinson of Murphysboro and Norma McManus of Du Quoin, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters - Loretta Combs and Wanda Wilce, one brother - George Finney, and two nephews.
Graveside services were at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin with Rev. Kent Eaton officiating.
Friends called from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the cemetery.
Those attending the service were asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
