Betty Jane Bullard
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Betty Jane Bullard, 86, of Glenridge, died Sunday night, Nov. 28, 2010 at 11:40 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital.
She was born in Opdyke on Oct. 4, 1924, the daughter of Guy Marshall and Grace Bernice (Estes) Roney. She married Floyd Bullard on Sept. 26, 1945 in Salem and he preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1993.
She retired after 26 years at Kas Potato Chip Co. and was an active member of Demaree United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Jane Sorrows (Grady L.) of Du Quoin; a son, Marshall Elsworth Bullard (Rosy) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; three grandsons and one granddaughter, Grady Alan Sorrows, Scott Sorrows (Karen), Chelsea Cox (Michael), Eli Bullard (Ranae); two great-gandchildren, Andrew Sorrows and Brandon Bullard and a sister, Bernice Irene Harper of Mt. Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Katherine Lane.
Services were Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Irvin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Widicus officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Friends called at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. or after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Donations in her memory to Demaree United Methodist Church will be accepted at the Irvin Funeral Home.
