Nicholas W. Wells

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Nicholas W. "Nick" Wells, age 22, of Willisville, Ill., formerly of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away as a result of an automobile accident on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 in St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Nick was born on June 30, 1988 in Carbondale, Ill., a son to William and Lisa (Bird) Wells. He was their eldest son and a brother of twins, Tom and Rob Wells. Since he was young, Nick had attended Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was a laborer, working construction at the new Sand Plant in Cutler, Ill. Nick enjoyed music, sports, and hanging out with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Nick is survived by his parents; twin brothers, Tom and Rob Wells; maternal grandmother, Lydia Bird; aunts, Carol Czmyrid (friend, Tim Harner), Cindy (Louis) Steinkamp, Terry Kelly, Coleen (Ron) Carns, and Jennifer Wells; uncles, Danny Bird, Joe (Kim) Wells and John Wiekinski and very special cousins in his life, Jaci Middleton and her children, Eli, Tyson and Madi.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jack Bird; paternal grandparents, William and Marilyn Wells; aunt, Pamela Wielinski and uncles, Perry and Ignatuis Wells.

Funeral services were held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment was in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the family of Nick Wells.
