William Franklin Dial
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[William Franklin "Frank" Dial, 77, of Tamaroa, passed away at 8:55 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Frank had worked as a welder for 41 years for Combustion Engineering in St. Louis.
He was born March 21, 1933 at Evening Shade, Mo., the son of Shadrick and Pauline (McClendon) Dial.
He is survived by one brother - Elbert Dial of Tamaroa, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters - Freeda Smith, Fern Keeney, and Mary Ann Hargett, and one brother - Ethan Dial.
Funeral services were at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Joseph Crowe officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to the Antioch Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
