Doris F. Wickwire

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Doris F. Wickwire, age 94, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, Ill.

Doris was born on Dec. 17, 1915 in Prescott, Kans., a daughter to Franklin Boyd and Bertha May (Pritchett) Harkness. In May 1936, she married James H. Wickwire in Peoria, Ill. and he preceded her in death in August 1986. Doris was a founding member of Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Elmwood, Ill. and attended Grace Outreach Church, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Doris is survived by three sons, Doug Wickwire of Galesburg, Ill., Jack Wickwire of Buschnelle, Fla. and Bill (Lois) Wickwire of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two daughters, Berdella Smith and Inez (James) Bevard both of Galesburg, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Dale Lee; four brothers; one sister and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Oak-Hines Funeral Home, Elmwood, Ill. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Ritter officiating. Interment was in Southport Cemetery, Elmwood, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday, Nov. 19, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at Oak-Hines Funeral Home, Elmwood, Ill. from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
