Carmon Louise Liska

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Carmon Louise Liska, 98, of Edgewood, Ky., formerly of Perry County, Ill., passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at her residence.

Carmon was born November 15, 1912 in Kansas, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Liska who died in 1966; her parents, Lillie Mae Davis Herron and Joseph Herron; two brothers, Connie and Thomas Herron; an infant son, Joe Gene and two grandchildren, Douglas Hils and Aaron Hafele.

Carmon is survived by two daughters, Nelma J. Hils of Edgewood, Ky., and Nyla J. Springmeyer of LaGrange, Ky.; her son, Jerry D. Liska of California, Ky.; her sister, Jessie H. Geiger of Du Quoin, now of LaGrange; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

She was a retired Dietary Manager with Speers Hospital in Dayton, Ky., Ridgeview Nursing Home and Booth Hospital in Covington, Ky. She loved to travel, spending time with family on vacations.

Visitation was from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 20 at Dobbling Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave, Bellevue, Ky.

Funeral ceremony was held on Saturday, November 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Dobbling Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Reinke officiating.

Burial took place in the St. Stephen Cemetery in Ft. Thomas.
