He was born to Glenn Bernard and Dorothy A. (nee:Moll) McClure on August 18, 1948 in Chester, IL.

He was a retired Plumber/Pipefitter for the Physical Plant at SIU Carbondale.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester, IL, Plumber Pipefitters Union #160 and member and Past President of the Breezy Hill RC Flying Club.

Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Chester, Illinois
