Tanisha Nicole Elizabeth Raysby

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Tanisha Nicole Elizabeth Raysby, 12, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:34 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Tanisha was a 6th Grader at the Tri-County School in Murphysboro. She enjoyed music and was a mommy&#39;s girl. She was a member of the Spirit of Life Christian Church in Du Quoin.

She was born Jan. 20, 1998 at Carbondale, Ill. the daughter of Rod Van and Brandy L. Raysby.

She is survived by her mother- Brandy L. Raysby of Du Quoin, step father- Harvey Gillespie of Du Quoin, father- Rod Van of Mt. Vernon, brother- Mikah Jace Raysby of Du Quoin, Grandparents- Pam Hiller, David Raysby and Sandy Van all of Du Quoin, great grandmother- Evelyn Carrel of Du Quoin, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her sister- Brooklyn Dawn Raysby, grandfather- Roger Hiller.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Rev. Gerald Wright officiating.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the cemetery.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

The Searby Funeral Home of Du Quoin is in charge of arrangements.
