Micki fell 2 weeks ago and broker her arm just below the shoulder. Having a lot of pain and immobility.?She says I had better learn to cook and do it quick, because she can't live on peanut butter sandwiches and canned chili. I made a quick trip to a couple of large supermarkets to look at their selection of microwaveable foods; entrees and desserts. I figure I can feed her 3 times a day, until her arm heals, and never duplicate a meal. And every label says delicious and nutritious.
As I write this, we've sat four our great-grandson. Naturally Micki can't change a diaper on-handed so I inherited that job. First day went great.. Four wet diapers. The second day, and the second diaper: let me just say I can hardly wait until that arm heals!
I read about Chester's shortage of trash containers.?Did CWI ever mention that their containers were disappearing.?I'm sure they told someone, and it should have been taken into account before expending all that money. A couple of Chester residents called me when they were orignially purchased complaining about the cost. They know I'm not bashful about criticizing public officials. I counted once that I had lived at 30 different addresses during my Naval career, and not once was I furnished with a trash can. I lived in Missouri 7 years, Chester for 10 years and bought my own.?When I moved to Bremen CWI gave me one.
Sailors have more fun!
