Wilma Maxine Troutt
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wilma Maxine Troutt, 79, of Du Quoin, passed away at 2:25 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Wilma was a homemaker. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was born Nov. 29, 1930 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of William and Lucille (Coffell) Wright.
She married James Neal Troutt on March 22, 1948 at the First Christian Church in Du Quoin and he survives.
She is survived by her husband of Du Quoin, three children - Diana Yancey and husband Woody of Beaumont, Tex., James Troutt, Jr. and Bill Troutt, both of Du Quoin, one brother-in-law - L.E. Troutt of Oxnard, Calif., five grandchildren - Kevin (Regina) Nelson of Bremerton, Wash., Roni (Del) Birkhofer of Roswell, Ga., Mark Nelson of Newbury Park, Calif., Jeremy Troutt of Carbondale and Sarah Billings of Beaumont, Tex., six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, her companion dog - Buddy Le, special friends - Rosemary and Jerry Henson of Du Quoin and all her friends at the Robert Phipps Apartments.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother - Bill Wright, one grandson - Terry Nelson and special friend - Lorene Hackleman.
Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at the Cudgetown Cemetery at Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.
Those attending the service were asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial was in the Cudgetown Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the Marshall Browning Hospital Tree of Life and will be accepted at the funeral home.
