Wanatha Mae Davis

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Wanatha Mae Davis, age 56, of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, Ill.

Wanatha was born on March 11, 1954 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to Roy and Lucille (Tuston) Davis. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her daughters, Emily (Claude) Donoghue of Murphysboro, Ill. and Mary Davis of Murphysboro, Ill.; a brother, Billy (Julie) Wilson of Du Quoin, Ill.; four sisters, Emily (Donny) Coffle of Joliet, Ill., Myrtle (Wayne) Allen of Ceollo, Ill., Theresa (James) Mathis of Pinckneyville, Ill., and Mable (George) Tripp of Georgia; four grandchildren, Clarissa Davis, Breanne Davis, Havan Donoghue, Ashton Donoghue and one other grandchild expected soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Elizabeth Davis Green; and a brother, Jimmy Dahl.

A memorial service was held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
