Virginia M. Lynch

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Virginia M. Lynch, 92, of Elkville, passed away at 3:52 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 at the Coulterville Care Center at Coulterville.

Virginia was a homemaker. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was born Sept. 27, 1918 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of John and Hattie (Davis) Degenhardt.

She married Paul Arkell Lynch on Sept. 1, 1940 at Charleston, Mo. and he preceded her in death in April of 1980.

She is survived by one daughter - Donna Heidemann of Elkville, one son - Paul Allen Lynch of Murphysboro, two grandchildren - Eric Heidemann of Elkville and Evan Heidemann and wife Nichole of Marion and two great grandchildren - Hayden Heidemann and Cordelia Heidemann, both of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville with the family conducting the service.

Burial was in the Elkville Cemetery at Elkville.

Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin was in charge of arrangements.
