John Joseph Kuberski

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[John Joseph Kuberski, 77, of Du Bois, passed away at 10:13 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.

He was a grain and cattle farmer. He had been a salesman for Garst Seed for 25 years. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and was a U.S. Army veteran. He also loved to dance, especially to polka music. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was born June 10, 1933 in Perry County, Ill., the son of Sylvester and Joan (Rybacki) Kuberski.

He married Helen Kaminski on April 20, 1960 at St. Michael&#39;s Church in Radom, Ill. and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Du Bois, son - Gerald Kuberski of Du Bois, three daughters - Jeannette Bochantin and husband Rick of Du Bois, Peggy Breeze and husband Mike of Ashley, Renee Sides and husband Kevin of Centralia, sister - Regina Zyk of Nashville, two brothers - Charles Kuberski and wife Mary of Du Bois, Ralph Kuberski of Du Bois and 12 grandchildren - Cassandra Kuberski, Heather Kuberski, Rachel Kuberski, Marlee Kuberski, Spencer Bochantin, Mason Bochantin, Cody Niederhofer and friend, Kayla Wilson, Bridget Niederhofer, Rylee Breeze, Kylee Breeze, Devin Sides and Whitney Sides.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother - Leonard Kuberski, sister - Theresa Bejma, and twin sisters -Eve and Rose died in infancy.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 at St. Charles Catholic Church at Du Bois with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu and Fr. Brian Barker officiating.

Friends called from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa. The Rosary was prayed at 7 p.m.

Interment was at the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois.

Friends may make memorials to the St. Charles Church Renovation Fund, St. Charles Cemetery or Masses.
