Jean A. House

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jean A. House, age 79, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Saturday morning, Oct. 9, 2010, north of Pinckneyville, Ill., as a result of an auto accident.

Jean was born September 5, 1931 in Pinckneyville, Ill., the daughter of Vincent Janto and Margaret (Perona) Cuccatti. She was united in marriage to Harry House Oct. 13, 1956 and he preceded her in death March 20, 1984. Jean was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pinckneyville, Ill. She was a member of the Stitch and Chatter Quilting Club and also quilted with Senior Citizens on Tuesdays. Jean loved gardening, sewing, crafts and quilting.

Jean is survived by her son, Bradley Allen House and his wife Deanna of Colfax, Ill., her daughter, Lisa Scalf of Pinckneyville, Ill., three grandchildren, Nathaniel, Neill and Krystal Scalf, a brother, Robert Cuccatti and his wife Geneva of Pinckneyville, Ill., three sisters-in-law, Carol Cuccatti of Granite City, Ill., Diana Cuccatti of Roswell, N.M. and Marian Miller of Shobonier, Ill., and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Carl and Joseph Cuccatti.

Graveside funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill., with Reverend Jim Barnett officiating.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill.
