Bernard Adam Buschschulte

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bernard Adam Buschschulte, age 75, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010 in Pincknevyille Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Bernard was born on Aug. 20, 1935 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a son to Joseph A. and Anna M. (Bathon) Buschschulte. On June 7, 1965, he married Clara Lee Eisenhauer in St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and she survives. Bernard was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. He was a farmer and worked as a coal miner for Consol #4 at Jamestown for 29 years. He was a member of the N.R.A., U.M.W.A. and the Nut Growers Association. Together, he and Clara Lee enjoyed traveling and dancing but he also enjoyed flying, hunting and fishing.

Bernard is survived by his wife; four children, Judith (Bryon) Williams of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Tim (Jennifer) Buschschulte of Columbia, Ill., Joyce (Karl) Ferry of Waterloo, Ill., and Deborah (Scott) Halcomb of Fenton, Mo.; one brother, Frank (Arthie) Buschschulte of Pinckneyville, Ill. and nine grandchildren, Dylan and Diana Williams, Adam and Kacie Ferry, Hannah Buschschulte, Faryn, Elric, Cirith and Saiya Halcomb; and many dear nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Herman and James Buschschulte.

Funeral services wereheld at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Jim Van Oss officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. Military graveside rites were by Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
