Isabel B. Ratajczyk
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Isabel B. Ratajczyk, 78, of Scheller, passed away at 11:12 a.m., Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.
Isabel was a homemaker and had worked at GS Metals in Pinckneyville for several years. She was a member of the St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Scheller and St. Barbara's Sodality. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Waltonville and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was born June 8, 1932 at Scheller, Ill. the daughter of John and Maude (Kelly) Dublo.
Isabel married James Edward Ratajczyk on June 9, 1951 at Scheller, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 1987.
She is survived by two sons- Dennis Ratajczyk of Du Quoin, Randy Ratajczyk and wife Toni of Tamaroa, daughter- Carol Overton and husband Todd of Taylorville, sister- Helen Kowalski of Scheller, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010 at the St. Barbara's Catholic Church in Scheller with Fr. James VanOss officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
The Rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Burial was in the St. Barbara's Cemetery at Scheller.
Memorials maybe made in the form of Masses or to the St. Barbara's Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
