He was born to Elmer and Jane (nee:Heine) Kipp, Jr. on October 26, 1960 in Sparta, IL.

Roger married Carolyn Pingel on May 16, 2005 in Sieverville, TN. She survives.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL. He was a foreman for Gilster-Mary Lee in McBride, MO. Roger enjoyed traveling, woodwork

Survivors: Wife: Carolyn Kipp Chester, IL; Parents: Elmer and Jane Kipp Chester, IL; 2 Sisters: Rosemary (Bill) Hamill Marissa, IL; Rhonda (Jim) Dunning Chester, IL; Nieces and Nephews; Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Funeral Service ere held at held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, IL Officiating: Rev. Mark Willig Visitation was held Saturday - 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL and on Sunday - 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, IL

Interment: St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Chester, Illinois
