</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Leonard A. "Dike" Perzia, 87, of Chester, IL, passed away at 2:55 pm on Monday September 13, 2010, at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.
He was born to the late Mike and Angie (nee:Pillitieri) Perzia on December 2, 1922 in Willisville, IL.
He married Rita Klein on January 25, 1969 in Chester, IL. She survives.
Leonard was a retired Plant Maintenance Engineer at Menard Correctional Center.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Chester, IL. He was also a life member of the VFW Post #3553 of Chester, IL, a life member of the American Legion of Steeleville and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served in the United States Army during WWII.

Preceded in death by: Parents, 1 Son - Samuel Petrowske, 1 Son-in-law - Terry Lindner and 1 Sister.
Funeral Service were held at 9:30 am, Saturday September 18, 2010 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL; Officiating: Rev. Gene Wojcik
Visitation was held Friday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm; Saturday 7:30 am to 9:30 am at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL
Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Chester, IL
