Frances H. Gattorna

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Frances "Fran" H. Gattorna, 85, of Centralia, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at 3:31 p.m. at St. Mary's Good Samaritan.

Fran was born Feb. 23, 1925 in Du Quoin, a daughter of Frank S. Heilig, Sr. and Martha Jane (Price) Heilig. She married Benedict Gattorna on Oct. 11, 1952. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1972.

She is survived by a niece Martha Moyers and husband Sonny of Du Quoin; special friends and neighbors; beloved cat, Maggie.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Benedict, a twin brother, Frank S. Heilig, Jr., who died at SW Pacific WW2 and a sister, Louise Brayfield Campbell.

Fran loved to do crossword puzzles and her pet cat, Maggie. She also loved to spend time with her friends and neighbors.

Graveside Services for Fran were held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Centralia with Mike Sutherland officiating.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Centralia Humane Society.

Hillcrest Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Centralia was in charge of arrangements.
