</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lucille E. Eggemeyer, 87, of Chester, IL, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at St. Ann's Healthcare Center in Chester.
The daughter of Fred and Lula (Rahlfs) Kipp, she was born July 16, 1923 in Chester, IL.
On December 6, 1941, she married Paul C. Eggemeyer in Wine Hill, IL, and he preceded her in death in 1982.
Lucille was a retired cook at Memorial Hospital in Chester. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Walsh, IL, Zion Ladies Aid, American Legion Auxiliary, and a Pierre Menard Home Volunteer.
Survivors include: two sons-Orville (Karen) Eggemeyer of Barnhart, MO, and Stanley (Barb) Eggemeyer of Chester, IL; one daughter, Geri Petrowski of Arnold, MO; one daughter-in-law, Toni Eggemeyer of Murphysboro, IL; one sister, Ethel (George) Niklich of Belleville, IL; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one son, Andrew Eggemeyer.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, Walsh, IL, with Rev. Harold Weber officiating. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Walsh.
Memorials may be given to the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
