Richard W. Morrow
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Richard W. Morrow, 67, of Tamaroa, passed away at 2:34 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Care in Mt. Vernon.
Richard had been a supervisor at General Cable in Du Quoin. He was of the protestant faith. He was a member of the Tamaroa Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites and was a Shriner. He was also a member of the Du Quoin VFW and American Legion. Richard was a US Army veteran.
He was born Sept. 13, 1942 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Max Franklin and Grace Morriene (Sizemore) Morrow.
He married Beatrice Jones on Feb. 24, 1964 at Perry Co., Ill. She died Nov. 12, 2008. He married Joyce A. Arney on April 30, 1983 at Granite City, Ill. and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, five children- Curtis W. Morrow and wife Laura of Pinckneyville, Tina Morrow and life partner Pattie Morrow of Marion, Raymond Morris of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Duane Morris and wife Amanda of St. Louis, Jamie Kling and husband Dave of Du Quoin, brother Max Morrow of Louisiana and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, three sisters- Johnanna Prusacki, Ina Longshore and Kathryn George.
Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Bro. Arven Kirkpatrick officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial was in the Tamaroa Cemetery.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Du Quoin VFW and American Legion.
Memorials maybe made to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital or Tamaroa Masonic Lodge and will be accepted at the funeral home.
