Jerald Renzo Reidelberger,
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jerald Renzo Reidelberger, 68, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:30 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2010 at the home of his daughter in Tempe, Ariz.
Jerry had worked for 37 years as a coal miner at Freeman United Coal Company. He was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Du Quoin. He was a member of the Lions Club, UMW of A, and Du Quoin American Legion. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was born Oct. 2, 1941 at Du Quoin, Ill., the son of Renzo and Louise (Harsy) Reidelberger.
He is survived by two daughters - Jo Dee Reidelberger of Tempe, Ariz. and Kathy Krone and husband Mark of Du Quoin; two sons - Derek Hoeinghaus and wife Tara of Du Quoin and Glen Hoeinghaus and wife Nikki of Chicago; four grandchildren - Trenton McKinney, Jordan McKinney, Lylee Gibbs and Ben Hoeinghaus; one sister - Charlene Bigham and husband Wayne of Du Quoin and one niece - Rhonda Goedeker and husband Fran of Chesterfield, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son - Brett Alan Reidelberger.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Rich Luh officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Du Quoin.
