Harold Lloyd Louis
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Harold Lloyd Louis, age 74, of rural Tamaroa, Ill., passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in Des Peres Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Harold was born on Nov. 3, 1934 in Pinckneyville, Ill., a son to Benjamin N. and Bertha E. (Pabst) Louis. 53 years ago in 1957, he married Sharon Kay Waller in Concord Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. and she survives. He was a cement mason before going to work at Arch of Illinois where he retired as a coal miner after over 25 years of service. Harold was a strong union supporter and a proud member of the U.M.W.A., enjoyed hunting, fishing and repairing and collecting John Deere tractors and dearly loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Louis of rural Tamaroa, Ill.; a son, Michael Lloyd (Cynthia) Louis of Plymouth, Calif.; two daughters, Carol (Billy) Rheinecker of Tamaroa, Ill. and Deborah Louis of Snohomish, Wash.; a brother, Elmer M. (Kowana) Louis of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two sisters, Clara (Jim) Wright of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Betty (Fritz) Henseler of Collinsville, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Rita, Tracy, Stacy, Sabrina, Rachel, Alex and Jacob and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Charles Louis, George Louis and Benjamin Louis.
Funeral services were held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Mark Lee officiating. Interment was in Concord Cemetery, Rice, Ill.
Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
