Funeral services were held Monday, June 21, 2010 at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Sparta, IL, with Rev. Robert Ellis officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery in Sparta.

Memorials may be given to the Union Cemetery, Gideon's, or to the Bethel Reformed Presbyterian Church.
